North London Cricket Club - Jack Petchey 2014

Jack Petchey Foundation Award winners 2014

James Berkmann

U13

James has built on his performamce last season and is now playing for the u13A team as an u12s, a substantial acheivement in itself notwithstanding he has also been the leading bowler in the team.  He is developing into a first class crickecter.

Joe Levitas

U11

Joe has shone this season as he has stepped into the role of opening batsman without a backward glance and is an extremely brave player. We are in the A league this year and so he is often facing the boroughs top U11 fast bowlers, but this hasn't daunted him in the least.  He always steps up to the plate.

Ned Canton Perry

U11

Ned has had an excellent season, is a very good team player - always calm and mature - and has captained several times. He has bowled consistently well and last week, despite his nerves about batting, scored 32 runs.

Jasper Morley

U15A

Jasper Morley for his inning and partnership of 135 with Seth Malik  (Jasper 102, Seth 36); Jasper played stupendously to get his 102 (the only colts' century this season),but every centurion needs to be supported and Seth played steadily and unselfishly to help Jasper and the team.

Hayden Salt

U15B

Hayden Salt.  Our wicket keeper and batsmen for his all round contribution during the season.  His scores as an opening batsman include 31, 24, 32, 25, 35 and all this as well as excellent wicket keeping.

Tara Hayes

U13G

Tara is competent with the bat, fearless in the field (1st year with hard ball) and her bowling has come on tremendously this season, taking wicket maidens in both our last two competitive games, all this with a smile on her face.

Emma Williets

U15G

Emma is one of the youngest players to represent the women`s team. She is a very capable bowler and has worked hard and developed well this season. Her bowling spin against Hamstead ladies was almost unplayable.

Maia Harris

U11G

Maia not only displays outstanding ability in all areas on the cricket pitch but she has shown great commitment to the team in attending all training sessions and matches. This, in addition to her positive attitude at all times, is why she is being nominated for the jack petchey award.

Max Heptonstall

Max  who is an under 14 player but has started playing adult cricket this season and played for the Under 17s on Friday 27th of June and took four wickets and a catch against big strong young men from Tower Hamlets.
