North
London Cricket Club has been playing cricket on its
beautiful grounds since 1877 & is one of the largest clubs in Middlesex, offering league and cup games to its 450
members - men, women and children.
- NLCC has 5 senior teams
playing in the Middlesex County Cricket League, 2 women’s league teams
playing & a Middlesex Development League Team. We have more than 325 registered boys & girls playing in the Middlesex junior leagues and the U17 Middx Youth & U19 T20 Competition.
- Training & home games
take place on our two cricket fields nestling in the picturesque conservation area
of Shepherds Cot, the nearest league cricket facilities to the City and central
London. First-time visitors are always surprised by the delightful green
setting and can’t believe they are still in London.
- The setting makes our
clubhouse a popular venue for wedding receptions, birthday parties, wakes or away-days (not at weekends during the cricket season). We have a fully licensed bar & kitchen. For more information email our Club Steward, Andy Bennett abennett7691@gmail.com
- If you are interested in
playing junior or whatever your level of experience, women’s cricket, or want to hire a pitch or the clubhouse,
see the relevant tabs on the left hand side of the page. Also there, under the
“Events” tab, you can see all the games for the current season.
- NLCC also participate in the ECB’s national All Stars programme for children aged between 5 to 8 respectively. Short, fun sessions to introduce young people to the game. See the relevant tab.
- As in previous years, the club offers opportunities for individual or small group coaching. It is a good way to develop skills and confidence. For enquiries and more details generally, please contact outdoorcricketbookingsnlcc@gmail.com, but move quickly as the coaches are likely to be in demand !
