We beat Enfield. And Bernie Andrews says I never show him any photos I take so here you go Prez, including a gratuitous shot of some bloke in the crowd. I have about 15 shots of graceful leaves by Mr O'Shea but I left those out. SG.
Norths take win in first MDL game
North London's women came up against some stern opposition when they played a 35-over game against VRA, Holland's oldest cricket club who brought a side with four international players. (Match review to follow)
VRA versus Norths' women
Lydia Greenway and Beth Morgan took a two-hour coaching session with our U11 girls. The two England stars went through batting and bowling drills and gave the girls some top tips. North London was chosen for this honour because of its commitment to girls' and women's cricket.

Our girls show their style against Harold Wood. Note the classy bowling actions of Gayatri Gole and Rose Matthews. Then our opening bats, Millie Pope and Gayatri get the innings off to a start.

Hiring out NLCC Facilities for parties
You may have heard that NLCC Under 11 and Under 13 girls managed to win the Middlesex finals of both at the club on Sunday 9th SEptember. We played Ealing in both finals and the matches were hard fought – we had much the younger teams in both, but all Henry and Gary’s extra practices must have paid off as we won both reasonably easily in the end – despite our girls not playing that well at times.
