NLCC Clubhouse redecoration - cricket memorabilia wanted
20 Apr 2014
The Clubhouse is currently undergoing redecoration, including the installation of the first phase of new main windows this week!
For the interior design, if you are able to donate a PICTURE FRAME (dark wood, light wood, black or white) of any size... and/ or
if could either DONATE or LOAN any lovely cricket pictures and memorabilia that you have at home (classic cricket posters, old cricketing prints, signs, books, tickets etc) then that will really make a difference to the look and feel of the Clubhouse. Donated items can be left with the Club Steward, Andy Bennett, when the Club is open. Please check with him first
abennett1967@hotmail.co.uk
if you are bringing an item to donate.
Re: LOANED ITEMS: Please first contact Sue Odell
sue@sueodell.com
who will arrange with you to have your valuable and sentimental pictures copied (and maybe enlarged) to fit the frames....and then, of course will return the originals...so it's very important that these loaned valuable are clearly marked with a name, email address and mobile phone number.
If you would like to help with any projects or have ideas about improving your Club on a voluntary basis, then please feel free to contact the Club Secretary, Bob Pedersen,
pedersen@clara.co.uk
who will put you in touch with the relevant Committee members.
As an example, the BBQ (next to the Clubhouse) trays are now rusting and need replacing - a skilled metal worker may be able to replace these.
