The weather turned it on for us and hundreds of club members, friends and family rolled up to help raise more than £2,500 for North London on what was one of the best club Fun Days ever.

The junior section filled the ground with quick cricket games in the morning and the adults spent the afternoon contesting a six-a-side tournament. The BBQ fed everyone and the bar did a roaring trade, literally in some cases.

The raffle raised the bulk of the money and the club's warm appreciation goes to the mum who won the big £1,500 prize and donated most of her winnings straight back to the club.

Thanks go to too many people to mention here and they will get their thanks elsewhere. A big shout too for everyone who turned up, contributed to the fun and put their hands in their pockets.
