Blind national T20 champs at North London

16 Sep 2014

If you have never seen blind and partially sighted people playing competitive cricket then you should come down to the club this Saturday 20th Sept. when the top four county blind teams will contest the national T20 championship finals.

The skill of people who have to listen for the gravel inside the ball to be able to hit or catch it is astonishing. This event was held at NLCC last year and they had such a good time and a warm welcome they are back so come and support them again if you can.

The four teams competing this year are, Warwickshire Bears (defending their title), Northamptonshire Steelbacks, Somerset VICC, and Metro.

The programme is:

10:30am T20 semi-final draw.
11:00am Start of play for both semi-finals.
2:00pm approx Lunch break
2:45pm approx Start of play for the final, and3rd/4th place play-off.
6:15pm Presentation of BCEW season's awards.
