The future of NLCC and the Shepherds Cot - survey results

20 Oct 2014

Dear North London member,

The results of the recent online survey of members of the three Shepherds Cot sports clubs have been published and are available for you to read below. You may have completed the survey – nearly 100 of our members did – and so you will want to look at the results.

The survey reveals what members of Hanley, Highgate and NLCC would like to see done to improve their clubs, the whole Cot and activities amongst the clubs. It will serve as a guideline to Shepherds Cot trustees and the Trust’s development group as they plan short- intermediate- and long-term improvements throughout the Cot.

All club members should read the survey report because it could affect what happens in and around NLCC. You can follow the breakdown of responses between tennis and cricket players and in some cases, between members of each of the three clubs.

Read the survey results here.

A note for your diary:

Shepherds Cot Trust A.G.M.    12.00 noon, Hanley Tennis Club, Sunday, 9th November 2014

The topics covered in the survey will be up for discussion; the trustees will want to hear your views and take decisions that will shape the future of the Cot. The AGM will be held in one of the three clubhouses and it is open to all club members.

That will be your chance to have a say in the future.

Stephen Gardiner
NLCC and SCT development group.
